Hey everyone,

I have not written a journal on here in a very long time. And the past journals that I wrote, I have already deleted them since they no longer apply to my life.

I just graduated from high school on the 9th of June, and ever since then it's been a hectic time. I'm trying to get used to the idea of college and make sure that I am truly making the right choice in the career path that I want to go towards. I don't want to be half-way through college and realize that I made the wrong choice. But something tells me that I'll be alright. Now I am just trying to get used to the idea of just college in itself. Everyone says that it's just like high school. Only difference is you're now paying for your classes and that college is so much fun. I'll make those opinions once I start college.

Another good thing that happened in my life about a few months ago, on the very day I turned 18. My boyfriend, Chris Real, asked me out. I'd have to say that he's one of the best boyfriends I have ever had. He truly cares about me. He takes the time to make sure that I am ok. He listens to what I have to say, and his compliments are amazingly sweet. He's definitely a keeper. And something tells me that the plan is for us to be together for a long time, if not forever.

Something else that's been happening lately is I've lost a few friends. Do to an arguement or a misunderstanding, or we fell out of contact. Though on ex-friend in particular just doesn't seem to like the fact that I am finally happy with my life. As long as she is miserable, she figures that I need to be miserable. Well I've got news for her, I am happy with my life, and nothing, not even her can change that. This is my life, and this is my choice to be happy.

All in all the biggest thing going on in my life is just college. But there are many smaller things that are helping me make it through this important time in my life. I'd have to say that my life isn't doing too bad at all right now. I'm just doing my best to take life a step at a time and accept that some things will go my way and some things won't. Be happy for the good, and learn from the bad.
